Born in 1982, I am a programmer, consultant and internet technology expert. My recent personal projects are viewable from the front page. I am a scottish highlander currently living in Trondheim, Norway.
I am technical lead at iformis and work as an almost full-time rails developer with them.
I am also involved in an orienteering grown organisation called nope industries which is registered as a business. We are involved in event management and management of the online community nopesport.
I write a weblog - the scoop - technology, outdoor and design.
If you are interested in my ruby and rails experience have a look at my working with rails profile.
I am a big fan of the outdoors and one of my core philosophies is be a doer rather than a spectator Do sports rather than watch them. Build web applications rather than review them.
I am also a sportsman. I am an advanced snowboarder and an elite orienteer. I do a bit of running training to maintain fitness and as a result enjoy Hill Running to satisfy my love of the mountains. Also since moving to Norway I am a fan of cross country skiing. Both classic style and more recently skating.
